Science must engage in Genuine Dialogue with Religion, Postmodernism, and Spirituality … and preserve its Rigorous Essence!
Civil society is under tremendous pressure. Bluntly, the various factions involved might argue that this is because of the stupidity of the other factions! But surely everyone can’t be wrong?!
As one of the involved factions, Science has a tremendous responsibility, and a tremendous opportunity. It can apply its standards of pristine logic and experimental verification to itself.
Such a meta-scientific self-examination must lead to a new version of Science. This reinvention would then be capable of productive, empowered, engagement with other worldviews.
This journey is the Mission of The Center for Dialogue in Science.

As an initiatory demonstration of the power of Dialogue for Science, the Center is applying a Dialogical process to the Science of Consciousness, engaging physics, neuroscience, psychology, and philosophy in a rigorous conversation.
